The owners of Chetek Auto Sales are long time residents, Scott Cunningham and Clayton Grover. Scott has been in the car business for close to 20 years, and Clayton has been a self-employed business owner for just as long. The two of them know each other well and have been close friends since going to high school together and graduating from Chetek High School in 1980. For years, Clayton and Scott talked about starting a business together and it seemed apparent to both of them that there was a need for a car dealership in Chetek to cater to the needs of their friends, family and the residents of the local area. Not only will you see Scott and Clayton at the dealership, but Scott’s son, Tyler, is also working there. Tyler is going to be doing just about everything including clean-up, sales, internet management, and locating vehicles. Tyler has been helping Scott buy for years and has developed a great eye for looking over vehicles for flaws and blemishes that may show that the car doesn’t quite meet our standards.
