The Chetek area is naturally beautiful, uncommonly friendly and a perfect getaway. Plan on family fun when you visit our local and regional parks.

Our quaint Little Main Street Park is the perfect place to watch the happenings in the City of Chetek. A shaded place to rest as you explore the shops in town.

Gotham Park across from the public beach on Chetek Lake. A beautiful peaceful area with restroom facilities, water, grills, picnic tables and a covered pavillion that can be reserved for private parties, all under huge georgous shade trees.

Phillips Park, known to the locals as Airport Park, is on Lakeview Drive by the Chetek Airport. this bucolic space has restrooms, playground, picnic tables, grills and a covered pavillion that can be reserved for private parties. Phillips Park is a lovley quiet place to picnic, read a book or just simply relax.

Veterans Memorial Park located on the west shore of Prairie Lake, one mile south of Cameron on Highway SS and one mile east on 12-1/2 Ave. 160 Acres of land and water. This park has picnic tables, fireplaces, boat landing, playground, trails and sanatary dumping, electric hook ups & more.

Red Cedar River has a series of accessable picnic area every three to six miles for the entire length of the river in the County. The Red Cedar is excellent for bass fishing, tubing, canoeing and just plan relaxing amid the georgous scenery.

The Chetek River Campground is not officially a park, but a privately owned campground that is just chock full of fantastic fun. It is the most complete amusement park in Chetek. The campground's recreational facilities are open to the public on weekdays. They include and in-ground heated pool, pedal carts, pool table, video games, air hockey, and the only mini-golf course in the area - all at reasonalbe rates. The naturally beautiful acreage is impeccably clean and kept cool on those hot summer days by towering shade trees. Rent canoes, kayaks, and tubes for a delightful trip down the Red Cedar River.
