| "Stayed at Lazy Acres and the owners, Tara and Bill could not be more friendly. The weather was in the high 90's and the low in the mid 40's The fishing was exceptional. No rain, my brother and I packed way too much but had the time of our lives again. Been going up off and on for 40+ years. Thanks for staying the same. " |

| "My Grandfater Roman Kintzel started taking me to Chetek 30 years ago. It is like a second home to me. A few years ago we sold our cabin and two months ago he passed away. My husband and I are very excited to return this 4th of July. It will be exciting to return with my 1 year old daughter who has never been there and hopefully see some old friends." |

| "I remember going to Chetek has a little girl in the middle 1950's to 1959. It was our family vacation every year in August where I would celebrate my birthday. I loved it there. The first couple of years the cabins had no indoor plumbing, but that was ok with us. We went fishing on lake Chetek, catching many blue gills. It was a wonderful childhood memory and something I will never forget. The owners of the resort were german, and I remember Mrs. ? always baking me a cake for my birthday every year. Unfortunately, my mother was very ill the last time we went, and it was are last vacation together as a family. I will always remember the happy times there it was a wonderful time and place. " |
